Holiday Skin Saviours

I basically drank and ate my way though the Christmas holidays - this has done nothing for the condition of my skin. Coupled with my terrible diet and way too much booze the weather has done me no favours, leaving my skin spotty, irritated and dull. The two products, both new discoveries, that've been my saving grace have been Vichy Normaderm Night Detox and Rodial X-treme Hangover Mask.
Vichy Normaderm Night Detox is like a night version of the wonderful La Roche Posay Effaclar Duo [+] it's not caused any irritation and has really helped to gently reduce the breakouts I've been getting after an overindulgent period. I'm pretty sure it'll become a permanent fixture in my skincare stash. Currently on offer at Boots for £11.25 (normally £15.00).
The Rodial X-treme Hangover Mask is a great quick fix for brightening up dull and dreary skin - it's not just for a hangover but certainly helps to leave my skin feeling revived and softer. A word of warning - I've got quite normal skin but around my nose I get quite sensitive and red skin in winter and it did sting a little. Saying that it's not enough to put me off because I'm really pleased with the results of this nifty little face mask. The problem is it's not cheap £45 from John Lewis - I would never pay that, I got it for £21 from eBay brand new...keep an eye out for a bargain if you're up for trying it. These two have definitely been skin saviours over the party season and beyond!
