2014 Favourites Part 1 Skincare

Products I've fallen deeply in love with in 2014 - with all of these I'm pretty certain they'll be sticking around for 2015 and beyond!

Starting with skincare I have a few oldies but goodies and some that are more recent finds...

Nivea In Shower Body Moisturiser Nourishing Cocoa Skin Conditioner - when I first tried the original I was totally put off by the smell, this one is much better. This ingenious product means no more standing around freezing your ass off moisturising after a shower...my perfect winter product.

La Roche-Posay Serozinc Spray - a hero product that deserves it's cult status! Now available in the UK and if you haven't already tried it I would highly recommend it. Calms my skin and keeps spots at bay.

No7 Protect & Perfect  - an old favourite, I used this for most of my mid to late 20's after it was launched in 2007. I strayed but I'm back and I just love the way this feels on my skin. At 32 I think it has a genuine impact on finer lines around my eyes, plumpness of my skin and overall appearance. Outperforms products 3 times the price.

Kiehl's Midnight Recovery Concentrate - a recent find in 2014, I love this night oil it leaves skin plum and soft the next morning. Smells and feels delicious.

Bioderma Sensibio H2O - Micelle Solution - nothing I have tried works as well to remove makeup without fuss or irritation. This is the only thing I use to remove makeup before cleansing, another cult product that totally deserves the hype.

Botanics Radiant Youth Microdermabrasion Polish  - really great exfoliator, super fine grains so actually really gentle, I use it once or twice a week and it leaves skin feeling baby soft. Always on offer in Boots.

La Roche Posay Effaclar Duo [+] Anti-blemish Cream - another staple, it just works when my skin is breaking out, gentle, effective and reliable. It clears up spots and seems to reduce the marks they leave behind.

Origins Drink Up Intensive Overnight Mask - a wonderful moisturising overnight face mask. Great for putting on before bed after a big night out (if you can remember) or if you've been in the sun. Super nourishing and worth it for the smell alone!

The Body Shop Camomile Silky Cleansing Oil - why people spend crazy money on cleansers I will never know. There are so many fantastic cleansers available and this is one of the best I've tried at any price point. Leaves skin clean, silky, soft and refreshed. Takes makeup off beautifully, last for ages and comes in at £10 (or less if you get a discount code from the Body Shop website before you shop). I cannot recommend this one enough.

All the makeup coming in Part 2 of 2014 Favourites next.
