Battle of the Brows - L'Oréal Brow Artist Plumper

Over a year ago I decided to try and grow out my brows (call it the Cara Delevingne effect). I was pretty successful until an encounter with an overzealous Threader...I had to start again from scratch, hard times they were too. I now pluck my eyebrows myself, once bitten twice shy and for the most part they are ok - a little unruly but I can live with that. I have been on the hunt for a good, quick and easy eyebrow grooming solution and have now tried almost every drugstore brand, I kissed a lot of frogs and found my eyebrow prince...
The L'Oréal Brow Artist Plumper is excellent - compered with the versions by Rimmel and Maybelline it comes out on top. The Rimmel offering is messy and difficult to use - the wand is far too large, comes out with a load of product that goes everywhere and I found the colour a bit off. Maybelline's is alright and actually very good for brushing brows into place without adding too much colour and I will keep if for no make up make up days.

The L'Oreal Brow Artiste Plumper (I have Dark Brunette) wand is tiny so gives much more control and less chance of mess, the formula keeps brows in place without being stiff or crispy and it adds a fullness without looking over the top. I think it stands up to the Benefit Gimme Brow Gel which is £17.50 - at £5.99 the L'Oreal Brow Artiste Plumper is over £10 cheaper and in my opinion just as good if not better! Occasionally I will use a powder and brush to fill out my brows but 99% of the time this is what I go for and it gives damn good brow!

  1. I love your earrings! Now really curious about L'Oreal's version as I have had the Maybelline one for a few months now and love it :)

    1. Thank you! I think the L'Oreal version is really excellent and worth a try. The earrings are from a shop on Etsy - I just searched silver bar earrings and these came up. Have a lovely weekend x

  3. Ooh the L'oreal one might be next on my list! I have the Maybelline one and it's pretty good, but once that runs out I know what I'm going for haha! Does the L'oreal one give a big amount of colour?
( deleted my last comment because I published it before I was done oooops!)
