A Sephora Haul

I've mentioned how much I dislike the term 'haul' but unfortunately it seems to be a case of if you can't beat 'em, join 'em and besides I can't really think of a better way to describe "purchases I've made from a shop"...so here's my Sephora Haul.

I was in Verona, Italy a few weeks ago and there was a pretty good little Sephora that I might have visited...oh about 6 times in the 5 days I was there...
I picked up a few brushes - the Sephora Pro Airbrush Precision Foundation Brush #56 I completely love! I have a lot of foundation brushes but this is by far the best one I've tried and the finish with liquid foundations is just lovely, it lives up to its claim of a flawless finish.
I haven't tried the concealer brush as yet - but if it is half as good as the foundation brush I'm sure I will be thrilled with it. I also got the smudger/blender brush, I've been looking for a stubby brush with compact bristles for ages and this does a great job at smoking out a pencil or gel liner. Love it!

To complete my little spree in Sephora I got three of the cream lip stains - 01 Always Red, 03 Strawberry Kissed and 04 Endless Purple. There are lots of blog posts raving about these and with good reason, they are fantastic - highly pigmented, (reasonably) easy to apply and once they set they do not budge. I love the red and pink shade but picked up Endless Purple on a whim - when I first tried it fully on my lips I was a little worried it looked a bit 90's (which is a thing at the moment apparently so maybe I'm inadvertently in 'fashion') but actually I think it will be a pretty shade for autumn.

Sephora was packed full of things I would love to buy but I think I got the main ones that I wanted to try - a lot of it was from brands we can get in the UK. I was not blown away by Marc Jacobs cosmetics, they were very expensive for what they were but any other Sephora recommendations for next time are always appreciated!

  1. I keep hearing all about this Sephora! We don't have it here in Australia. Those lip stains are gorgeous. I'm having a little product give away over on my blog if you are interested in having a look.

    1. We don't have Sephora in the UK either - I wish we did - so I always have a look when on holiday in Europe. They do ship internationally so it might be worth having a look at their website. The stains are really great and I cannot recommend them enough. Going to enter your give away - would be amazing to try that udder cream - especially as it's from Australia! Jade x
