I Spent TOO Much Money in Boots (otherwise known as a Boots Haul)

I am not a big fan of the term 'haul' as in Boots haul or a Primark haul - it just sounds a bit odd...like look at all the cool s**t I bought and you can't afford/should own as well/I have and you don't/etc...
Anyway despite not liking the word haul I love the idea behind it. A large part of the reason I love blogs is I'm a naturally nosey person, I think there are a lot of us out there and I'm not gonna lie I really like to see what other people have bought. I do it in the drugstore - Boots/Superdrug - all the time, have a good old look at what the girl in front of me is buying (obviously not if they're getting like bum cream or something!!). Even when I'm walking around town and spot someone with a large bag from Boots I immediately wonder if they've got some goodies to take home so on that note I thought I would share what I recently purchased.
  • I always stock up on clear mascara - great stuff and amazingly cheap. I use it for taming eyebrows. They get grubby pretty quickly so have a high turnover. Miss Sporty is my favourite.
  • I finally cracked and got the Collection Lasting Perfection Ultimate Wear Concealer - I've heard so much about it and it's cheap so I thought I'd give it a go. I hope it lives up to the hype.
  • Now the No7 Stay Perfect Shade And Define pencils I have tried and they are excellent, I had those £3 No7 make up vouchers so got shades Coffee Bean and Velvet Truffle for a fiver each. I have heard them compared to the By Terry's Ombre Blackstar which are £30 each people (total madness!). The colours are gorgeous and they stay put for ages...
  • Barry M Metallic Liquid Eyeliner in Gold - not tried it yet, thought it might be fun for for when Christmas rolls around (4 months way - how the hell did that happen?!). We'll see if it's any good.
  • The L'Oreal Paris Color Riche Mono Eyeshadow in 502 Quartz Fume is incredible and I cannot recommend it enough - all of them are stunning but this one is my personal favourite.

  • I have a post coming up on my undying love for the Bourjois Rouge Edition Velvet matte lipsticks and I picked up Nude-ist which is just lovely.
  • My skin has been playing up so thought I would try some spot fighting stuff - Pure Active BB Cream for when I have to wear make up because as a rule I usually never cover spots, it seems alright for the price. I haven't used Clearasil since I was a teenager but this promises to tackle marks and spots. I had replacements for my La Roche Posay Effaclar Duo and Origins Super Spot Remover Blemish Treatment Gel in the Boots basket and thought why not save £25 and just try this, if it works I'm on to a winner here.
  • The Rimmel Wonder'full Mascara with argan oil is alright - I won't be repurchasing but it is nice for everyday, decent brush and very build-able but I wasn't blown away.
  • Collection Extreme 24 Hour Felt Tip Liner in Teal - just for a bit of fun, goes on well, lasts ages and looks good with brown eyes all for £3 so cannot complain.

So that's my 'haul' - I'm happy with most of it but I think in future I am going to try and film these because it takes ages to write them out and it's much more fun/interesting to hear and see someone talk about the stuff they've bought and possibly even give them a go at the same time.
