Castor Oil for Longer Eyelashes and Bushier Brows?

About six months ago I had a very unfortunate incident with a brow threader, I don't think these encounters are uncommon but it was my first time and let's just say I won't be doing that again - once bitten twice shy!

I had grown out my eyebrows for months with visions of Cara Delevingne esque brows and all I needed was a little shaping and tidy up...after my treading session I left bright red with these strange tadpole shaped brows that had been threaded from both the top and the bottom and to within an inch of their existence. Why hadn't I stopped her, why didn't I say anything? It didn't matter the damage was done. I started doing some research as soon as I got home on how best to aid the regrowth, there are loads of very expensive products on the market that promise to aid with hair growth but I thought I would try castor oil which was the cheapest option.

I have been using castor oil on my eyebrows and eyelashes (I thought I might as well give it a go on my lashes as well) every night for the last six months, I am genuinely impressed with the results, it has not made a dramatic difference but my lashes are noticeably thicker and a little longer and my brows are back to the pre threading disaster. I wish I had thought to do before and after pictures that I could share but sadly didn't.

I got my castor oil from this seller on eBay but there are loads of options online. Applying with a disposable mascara wand or a washed old mascara wand is easiest, I do it before going to bed as part of my night time routine and I think I will just keep on going. Isn't it funny how we want to get rid of some facial hair and grow others...
