What's Coming With Me on Holiday

These are a selection of the products that I love and will be taking with me (along with the essentials like a toothbrush of course!) when we head to France next week.

I am sadly not known for being a light packer - last time we drove to France I literally took 5 or 6 times the amount of clothes, make up and other random crap that I never used. In reality I wore the same H&M shorts I've had for years and my havaianas flip flops, I hardly wore any make up either. We were in and out of the pool or having BBQ's at home so no need to glam up. This year as we are flying Easyjet so I am going to try and make an effort to bring only the things I am actually going to use (and maybe a few items of clothing I will blatantly not wear but you never know when you might get to wear a full length floaty dress again!).

Product list:
Nuxe Sun Milky Spray for Face and Body - Medium Protection SPF20 150ml
Nuxe Sun Refreshing After-Sun Lotion for Face and Body 200ml - Probably silly to get these over here before going to France but they were on offer at Feel Unique.
Nivia sunblock in SPF 50 - we are going kayaking and I last year being on the river for 6 hours left us pretty burnt and factor 30 is not going to cut it.
NARS Laguna Bronzer - no explanation necessary!
Rimmel Stay Blushed in Sunkissed Cherry - I try to avoid pink blushers on holiday as the whole situation just gets a bit beetroot. This shade is a peach rather than cherry and looks pretty good with a tan.
Rouge Edition Velvet by Bourjois - Pink Pong and Ole Flamingo, both of which I absolutely adore.
KeraCare Leave-In Conditioner - it has an SPF which I think is perfect for days in the sun, my hair does not need to be any drier!!
REN's Rose Centifolia Hot Cloth Cleanser and luxury stay-warm cloth cam free in this months InStyle magazine and I think it is just the perfect size to travel with.
Jo Malone English Pear And Freesia Cologne - which I think i the most lovely summer smell, light and easy to wear.
Palmer's Coconut Oil Formula Deep Conditioning Protein Pack - 2 of these and they are just the right size to travel with again.
Omorovicza Queen of Hungary Mist, travel size - great for the flight and to rehydrate skin in the heat.
Rimmel Shimmer Instant Tan Make Up Medium Matte - applied with a self tan mitt for the first few days before I get a bit of sun.
Origins A Perfect World SPF 35 UV Face Protector with White Tea - this is going to be my daily moisturiser.
Body Shop All-In-One BB Cream - in number 3, I love this stuff, it's a very lightweight cover which I think will work well in the heat without leaving me looking too sweaty.
Nip + Fab's Shine Fix Mattifying Gel - and this is the back up if things start to look a bit greasy.
Origins Drink Up Intensive Overnight Mask - which is excellent for dehydrated skin which is inevitable when sun and wine are involved.
I am going to review a few of these products after the holiday as I haven't used them before so we'll see how it goes.
Lastly there are a few items that I always bring with me - there are 6 of us going on holiday so I know there will be a sizeable quantity of rose drunk so if I end up feeling a bit worse for wear motilium, dioralyte and alka seltzer are my go to life savers.*
I always bring an allergy remedy with me, I sometimes get a rash or skin flare up on my face when I'm in the sun and these seem to help, also if you get hay fever it's a good idea to bring them along.

*these products are medicines so please speak to a doctor or pharmacist before using, I am not recommending them, they are products that I have used before with the advice of a pharmacist.
